Happy Easter!

I hope that everyone had a blessed Easter! We had a wonderful day celebrating our Risen Lord with many friends and great food.

A favorite verse from Lila's Bible is the theme for our Easter celebration as well as our every day lives:

"Jesus said, God loved the people of the world so much that he gave his only Son. So that anyone who believes in him will have eternal life and never really die.  He did not send his Son into the world to punish people.  He sent him to rescue them!"

Fitness Center Easter Party

This morning, the girls and I attended the Fitness Center's Easter party at our gym.  They had a little egg hunt for the kids as well as games and tons of snacks and goodies.  The girls had so much fun finding eggs and seeing their friends from school.  Lila's friend from school, Adelle, held her hand as they walked to the egg hunt together.  They are so cute! Lila and Alli also found their friends Anna and Lydia after the hunt and we visited for a while. The girls have had a great time celebrating Easter and are looking forward to Sunday!
