37 week update

I had my 37 week check-up with my doctor today. It also brought another cervical check, and I learned that things are definitely progressing! I'm 3cm dilated and 75% effaced, which is up quite a bit from last week. He was all for setting up an induction date of September 12th (so exciting!), although he's not too sure ill make it until then. It's crazy to think that we have less than two weeks until we get to meet our little guy!!

On a different note, we had a gender reveal party for a sweet friend last night at Opus Bistro where we all found out she is expecting a baby GIRL! So many friends expecting :)

Meet the Teacher 2013

I'm so excited that both of the girls will be at Happy Harbour this year! Alli is in the Angelfish class (just like Lila last year), and Lila is in the Sea Turtles class. They got to meet their teachers and see their new classrooms this morning, and they had so much fun that they didn't want to leave!

Alli has Ms. Roni and Ms. Renee (who Lila had last year and loved!), and I think that she had a blast playing with all of the toys in the classroom. Lila has Ms. Dee and Ms. Tracie, and I know that she will have a great time since some of her best friends are in her class with her. We have been blessed with great teachers each year, and I'm looking forward to a fun year!

Girls' First Day of Dance

Both girls are signed up for dance at Kennedy Dance Theatre, and had a great first day yesterday! Alli is in the Pre-Dance class, and Lila is in the CD-1 class.  Both girls have Ms. Naomi for a teacher, and she is so nice. They really responded well to her, and I love how patient she is with the little ones.  The girls were dying for daddy to get home so that they could show him their outfits and new dance shoes.  Lila even showed him some of her new tap skills.  This may be a little better for Lila than soccer :) Here are some pictures and videos of their class:
