Christmas Eve 2014

The first Christmas in our new home was so special.  We were worried that we wouldn't be able to keep the traditions that we made living in Texas since we are close to family now. However, everyone was really understanding of our schedule and time, and we were able to do everything that we had done in the past.

Christmas eve is always my favorite day of the year! There is just something so exciting about the anticipation of what's to come.  I love spending the day relaxing, having fun, and then going to church in the evening to celebrate the birth of our Savior.  This was the first year that Lila was able to join us in "big church", and she did really well.  She even got to hold a lit candle and sing, and she thought that was the coolest thing.

When we got home, we had a quick spaghetti dinner, opened the presents from mom and dad (Josh and me), and put the kids to bed.  After the kids were in their room, Santa made his arrival, complete with our favorite champagne :) It was a great day!

Alli's Class Christmas Party

Just like the pictures in the previous post, these pictures are not very edited, therefore I'm not claiming them as KBG Photography, but still cute nonetheless.

Alli's party was really cute as well.  I'm not the room mom in her class, so it was nice that I didn't have to do anything for her party, but I always have fun going to them.  Alli was so happy to have me there and all to herself.  She had a blast decorating her brownie and opening her book from her friend in the class.  Mount Paran is such a blessing!
