River Club Sister Mini Session

I absolutely LOVE my parents' neighborhood, The River Club.  It is made to look like a mountain lodge neighborhood, and I tried to take advantage of having to live with them for a month while our house was being worked on by taking the kids' pictures all around the club. Here are some pictures of our mini session with just the girlies at the activities center at the River Club.

Alli's First Haircut

It only took us three years, but we finally took Alli for her first haircut while Lila was at school. We went to Pigtails and Crewcuts, and it is the cutest place! Alli picked out the police car to sit in and was a great listener when the stylist would give her directions. She looks so cute with her new haircut, and the stylist even have her a little braid at the end. 

Grant's First Birthday Party 9*14*14

I cannot believe that I have only written one blog post for the entire month of September.  I'm excited to blog about Grant's first birthday party.  We only invited our immediate family members (which totals about 30 people, so it still ends up being pretty big).  It was so perfect, and it was a blast.  Everyone stayed until well after dinner and dessert, and it was great getting to spend time with family.

Grant was very social and made his rounds to speak to everyone.  He never took a bite of his cake, but he had a great time smashing it and making a giant mess.  Alli stole most of his birthday presents, but Grant loved playing with his new trucks and trains. I think that he (and everyone else) really enjoyed his party!
