As I've said in many posts, the Disibios are moving away soon, so we're trying to get together as much as possible before they go next week. This past Saturday, Josh and I got some chicken to grill while they brought the sides, and we had a great time watching Lila and Elle sliding into the baby pool over and over. They would laugh hysterically when they would slide or when either of them would slip and fall in the pool. It was so funny to watch them, and they kept us entertained all night long! Alli was a little scared to get in the pool with the crazy big girls, so she hung out around the pool and crawled all over the patio, but she seemed to be enjoying herself too.
After dinner, we changed the girls into their pjs, and they went back outside to play with the dry toys. They loved the Dora 4-wheeler and had a good time pushing each other through the grass.
We all had a great time visiting, as always, and will really miss them when they move!

Spring Park Day
Last Friday, we had some free time and met up with our friends, the Braseltons at the park for some playtime. Lila and Karsyn had a great time climbing, moving mulch, swinging, and laughing together. Alli and Chandler had a fun time looking at each other, climbing on each other, and eyeing each other's hair bows.
When we were taking pictures of the little girls (Alli and Chandler), the big girls (Lila and Karsyn) saw that pictures were being taken and came running from the slide to sit in picture-pose formation. It was hilarious and unexpected, but it made Ashley and me so proud that we've trained our girls so well for picture time!
The weather has been so nice, and we are spending as much time outside as possible before it starts to get unbearably hot!

Last Day of School for 2011-2012
Yesterday was the last day of school for the girls' 2011-2012 school year. Alli will be going back to the same class next year, with hopefully the same teachers; but, Lila will be going to a whole new school next year, Happy Harbour, so yesterday was a little bittersweet. Lila has been at St. Christopher since she was six months old and has had such a great time there. I'm looking forward to what next year will hold for the girls!

Tubby Time!
The girls LOVE their tubbies! In fact, I hate tubby nights sometimes because making their pruny little bodies get out of the bath always results in a huge fight from both of them! They are hysterical when they play with each other, and I love that Alli is just as much of a water bug as Lila (which is good because she has to endure lots of water being dumped on her by Lila). Last night, I finally remembered to bring the camera into the bathroom with me, and I'm so glad that I did. They were having so much fun, and Alli even wanted to lay on her belly for a while in the tub, which surprised me, but she held her head above the water great. They are such sweet sisters, and I can tell already that they will be the best of friends!
And what is a tubby night without a little dress-up play afterwards?!?

Cecilia's Third Birthday Party

Cecilia was so funny with her cake and kept sticking her finger in the icing. No one seemed to care since she was the birthday girl, after all! Lila always has so much fun with her friend "Celia," as she calls her, and we all had a great time at her birthday party. It was so nice to meet other couples that go to the church where we have been visiting a lot lately also, there were even a few Auburn fans in the mix (who knew that I could find so many of my people in Texas!). A great time was had by all, thanks for inviting us Adrienne and Ben!

Children's Museum with the Disibios
Last Friday, we met up with our friends, the Disibios, at the Children's Museum of Houston. They had never been before, and they wanted to go before they move in a few weeks. Lila always has such a fun time at the museum, and she was excited to show her friend, Elle around the place. The girls had a blast in the grocery store, and Lila didn't want to part with her basket of fruit, so she walked with it around the rest of the museum. They also had a good time in the police car, ambulance, and Vet office before we made our way upstairs to the Tot Spot. Even Alli got to enjoy the Vet office as we put her in the animal cage (don't worry, she liked it, and she wasn't harmed in the process!) and on the animal scale. She's such a good sport!
The girls really loved the Tot Spot. Alli had a great time in the ball pit, and Lila and Elle had fun on the slide, in the car, and playing with the different lights, blocks, and toys. After the Tot Spot, we made our way to the science stations. Lila had so much fun watching the lady blow bubbles. She is obsessed with bubbles. She and Elle really enjoyed playing with the ball catapult also, the dads helped out and were a bit fascinated also!
After a while, we were all starving, so we made our way over to Empire Cafe in the Montrose area. It was a gorgeous night, and we had a great time eating and visiting with each other on the patio of the restaurant. I just love that area downtown, and I wish that we could get there more often! It was such a great afternoon and evening, and we will be so sad in a few weeks when they move!
