Our Valentines Day

Lila and I woke up to cards (that's all I ask for every holiday-a sweet card! I just love them!) on our tables where we eat breakfast from Josh. Hers was on her high chair, and she loved looking at the funny creature on it. She loves cards and likes to bend, open, and close them. I snapped a few pictures so that Josh could see how much she loved it.

After we read our sweet cards and ate our breakfast, it was time to get ready for the baby Valentines Day party that we were hosting. We had nine babies all under the age of 15 months over to play in our new playroom. It was definitely noisy and crowded, but the babies had a great time playing together. The room held up perfectly too and was surprisingly easy to clean up!
That night, I decided to make my aunt's baked potato soup to go with the leftover sandwiches that we had from the party. I rarely cook, but Valentines Day is just one of those days where I don't want to fight the crowds with a crazy toddler to go out to eat! ...unless of course it is a nice restaurant and we are sans baby! But, that was not the case last night, so we ate in and it was delicious!

We had a great Valentines Day, and I hope that you did too!
