What a FUN Halloween night it was! Each year that Lila and Alli get older, the more fun these activities are becoming. They were the cutest pirates (Josh picked this year), and they both really loved their costumes. Lila didn't want to take it off, and she asked to wear it to bed.
We took a few pictures by the front door before we headed out to trick-or-treat. We went the same loop around our street as last year, but I think that we went to a few more houses than last year. Lila was a pro and remembered exactly what to do and say, and she held Alli's hand for a few houses to show her how to trick-or-treat. Alli had a great time too, and I think that she felt like one of the big kids for sure.
When we got home, Lila got to help Josh pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters. She took her job so seriously and would say "you're welcome" when the kids would say "thank you." Halloween has quickly become one of her favorite holidays since she loves giving, and mainly receiving candy. I'm already looking forward to next year!
