Playing with my new lens

I got a Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM zoom lens for Christmas and am having so much fun playing around with it. I'm also learning how to use some of the manual settings on my camera, very slowly, but having fun in the meantime. I brought Lila outside before our playdate the other day to snap some pictures of her. Of course, most of them are of her crawling away, but she happened to sit still through a couple. I realize that they are very amateur and a few are a little overexposed, but hey, I'm learning!
