With each new year brings new expectations and a new outlook on life. For some, this means losing weight or quitting procrastinating (ehem-mom). For others, it means the hope of a more prosperous or healthy year. I am hoping that 2011 continues to be just as wonderful as 2010. God has blessed my family and me in enumerable ways, and here is my prayer for 2011.
"Yet those who wait upon the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary." Isaiah 40:31
I want to thank you so much for all that you have given my family and me, and I pray that you will give me the guidance to which directions our tithes should go this year. Help us to always remember to be good stewards of our time and money because everything we have is Yours, Lord. I pray that you will heal those that are hurting and that are sick, especially those who have been lifted up in prayers throughout this past year. I also pray that you will comfort those who are going through financial struggles, emotional struggles, and those that need your special touch. I pray for our family and friends, Lord, that they will be safe and healthy this year, and I praise you for your healing touch in the cancer scares that has faced members of our family this past year. Thank you again for always watching over us, and we will continue to praise your Holy name in 2011. Amen.
"The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" Lamentations 3:22-24
