I love Sundays!

I remember severely disliking Sundays when I was in Middle and High school. It was the day to cram in all the weekend homework that you put off, get up early to go to church, be sad that the weekend was over already, and dread the next five days of early wake-up calls and lots more homework. Now, don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed school. It's just something about knowing that you have to wake up at 6 a.m. for the next five days that really got to me.

However, now that I'm an adult, I really love Sundays. I think it has a lot to do with Josh's schedule and the fact that he comes home after being gone for up to five days in a row, but that isn't the case every week. I love waking up (it's not really considered "early" anymore now that I don't sleep until noon on the weekends like I did when I was a teenager) and going to church. To be honest, I really enjoy dressing the girls up to go to church too! When it was just Lila, I had fun picking out the smocked dress, pretty bow, and shoes that she was going to wear. Now that Alli is here too, it's even better, twice the fun! Of course, Sundays aren't only about playing dress-up with the girls. It's a time for me to really reflect on what we have and what I am truly thankful for, as well as think about what I can do to help those who don't have what we do. Oh, and True Blood on Sunday TV just makes it that much better also!

Here are some pictures from our Sunday morning:
