Today marks the first day of the advent season, and we celebrate by lighting the HOPE candle. The Christian walk is based on this HOPE that we will one day be re-united with our Father in Heaven. This site puts it well when the author says, "To walk in hope, as a Christian, is not simply to be optimistic. Instead, it is to live with a sense of purpose, knowing that we walk in the presence of the living God revealed in the person of Jesus Christ." (Cornwall, 2008).  I pray that this advent seasons brings you Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy in the anticipation of our coming Christ!

  1. This is completely unrelated to this post, but I was catching up on your other posts. Can you tell me more about your house that is for sale in FL? We are moving back this summer. Not sure if we are ready to buy, but figure it's worth at least asking about! Here's my email: bah5104@gmail.com
