Cake and Catering Tasting for Kimbo's Wedding

We got into Atlanta last Wednesday, and on Thursday, my sister had her tasting for the food and desserts for her wedding. I'm so glad that it worked out that I could be there, because it the tasting is definitely one of the best parts about wedding planning! Ralson, Dad, Mom, and Kimberly's wedding planner, Linsday Pitt were able to join us for the tasting, and it was so good to see her again! She also planned Josh and my wedding, and she is by far the best at what she does!

Kimberly is using A Legendary Event for her wedding, and they are so amazing! They handle all of the design elements, flowers, food, and desserts. We were able to get a sneak peek of some ideas they had for the flowers, candles, and table arrangements, and it all looks beautiful. We tried four small plate dishes, and each one were SO good! We all left so stuffed that none of us wanted to eat dinner that night, and I couldn't really stomach much food the next day either.   Each dish that they brought out contained all of Kimberly's favorite foods (of course, it is her wedding), and the whole experience seemed as if it were Kimberly's last meal, which was freaking me out a little. We also were able to taste five choices of wedding cake, and they were all so good! Kimberly decided on the favorite of all of us, which I'm not going to share, unless she gives me the go-ahead, but I think we should keep it a secret! It was such a fun day, and I'm so thankful to have been able to share in such a special event with my sister.
